Nextjs App to Statamic Conversion

SkySafe

(The Client)

The Challenge

SkySafe's technology allows governments, law enforcement, airports, corporations, cities, and more to manage their airspace with real-time drone data and analytics. The SkySafe website was originally built on two complex framework technologies that made it challenging to deploy any changes. The marketing team found it difficult to create updates due to the website's complicated structure.

The Solution

The SkySafe website had two framework technologies that were overly complicated to deploy any changes. The solution was to convert both of these frameworks into a fully customizable Statamic site that would help our team and SkySafe’s team to manage changes and updates. First we assessed how their current workflow and updates were being managed by the technology they had in place and we provided a plan to move forward on what would be the ideal solution making the overall deployment process straightforward. We created a back end management area in Statamic that would make it easier for their staff to make changes as well. We have since added a blog area as well that the team uses to manage their SEO strategy.

To address these issues, our team proposed a solution to convert both frameworks into a fully customizable Statamic site. Statamic is a flexible, flat-file content management system that simplifies the process of creating and managing websites. By using Statamic, we could provide a straightforward solution for SkySafe's team to manage updates and changes.

Our first step was to assess how SkySafe's current workflow and updates were being managed by the technology they had in place. By analyzing their existing infrastructure, we could identify the pain points and provide an ideal solution that would make the overall deployment process easier. We also identified areas where improvements could be made, such as the addition of a blog area to manage their SEO strategy.
Once we had a clear understanding of their requirements, our team began the conversion process. We created a customized Statamic site that was tailored to their specific needs. We also designed a back-end management area in Statamic that would allow their staff to make changes easily. The back-end management area was intuitive and user-friendly, making it easy for anyone on the team to update the site without requiring specialized technical knowledge.

In addition to simplifying the update process, we also added a blog area to the site. The blog area was an essential component of SkySafe's SEO strategy. We designed the blog area to be user-friendly and easily manageable, with a simple interface that allowed the team to create and publish blog posts with ease. The blog area helped to increase the website's visibility and attract more visitors, leading to more business opportunities for SkySafe.

The Results

Overall, our team's conversion of the SkySafe website from complex frameworks to a fully customizable Statamic site made a significant difference in the ease of managing and updating the site. The back-end management area we created simplified the process for SkySafe's team, while the addition of a blog area helped to increase the website's visibility and attract more visitors. The resulting website was both user-friendly and highly functional, meeting SkySafe's specific needs and requirements.

Isaac has been wonderful to work with. He turns around projects quickly and is easy and pleasant to work with. He knows the Statamic platform well and has done wonders for our website! I would highly recommend his work.
